FAQ

How long does each session last?

Most sessions last about an hour, but the real answer is: as long as it takes to tell your family's story. Babies and little children determine how many breaks we need for feedings, changing, and snacks. We want happy participants, so we'll go as slow or as fast as they need while ensuring that loving moments between family members are captured!

What should I wear?

Wear clothing that feels comfortable and true to your family. Soft, neutral, or earthy tones photograph beautifully at home, and coordinating colors (rather than matching exactly) help keep the focus on your connection.

How do I prepare?

You don't need a perfectly clean home or perfectly behaved children. A little tidying in the rooms we'll use, opening the blinds, and putting away a few everyday distractions is usually all that's needed. I'll guide you every step of the way so you can focus on enjoying time together.

What if my kids don't cooperate?

They don't have to.

Some of the most meaningful photographs happen when children are simply being themselves—even if that means they need extra cuddles, want to explore, or have a few big feelings. I follow your child's lead and create space for genuine moments, not perfect behavior. Want to learn more?

What will my final gallery look like?

Every family session tells a different story, but each gallery includes a mix of candid interactions, quiet moments, genuine smiles, and natural portraits. If you'd like to see exactly what a finished gallery looks like, browse a complete family gallery from a real client session shared with permission.
